We invite boys and girls aged 5–14 to register to play with the Leichhardt Cygnets in 2024.
We’re an inclusive club, giving each player a chance on the field. We invite you to join us for Auskick or to play in one of our teams. We play Auskick and team games on Sundays, making us a perfect fit with other winter team sports.
Team groupings are determined by your child’s birth date on January 1st. For instance, if your child will be 8 in 2024, they will be eligible for our Under 8s team.
Auskick & under 8s
It costs $159 per season; this includes an Auskick pack sent to you by the AFL, and we accept Active Kids vouchers.
Auskick rotates between Leichhardt Oval No. 3 and our home ground, Glover Street Oval.
Under 8s fall under the Auskick banner. Register for Auskick if your child wants to play Under 8s and has a birth date between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2016. We will contact you with team details.

under 9s to u14s
It costs $199 per season, and we accept Active Kids vouchers.
Team managers have the 2024 season footy gear and game schedules ready and will contact you with team details.
Returning players, the AFL are using a new system, PlayHQ, for 2024 registrations. Tip: use the same email address and name you registered your child with last season. This will connect their old player profile and import it seamlessly to the PlayHQ system.
